Farewell...again

With one hour left before I leave for the airport I'm going to do what I've been promising to do for the last two weeks...update my blog.

The last 16 days have been amazing. I've been able to see almost everyone I had hoped to see. I've met the new people in my parents' lives and visited all the new houses. I've made myself sick from all the good food, especially cheese! I've had good American beer and Mexican beer, and Canadian beer. And all the good chocolate goes without mention! I did my part to boost the economy by shopping for clothes I can't wear for another 8 months. And now I can take all these great experiences back to get me through another 8 or 9 months.

I've posted a few pictures but surprise, surprise I didn't take hardly any pictures. Thank you to everyone who came to the parties and took me out for meals and drinks. This has been a great vacation and now it's back to Zambia!

Here's what I'll be doing when I get back....getting a HIV+ support group going in my area, condom demos, and writing a grant for clean delivery kits. I'll update again in a few weeks.

My Christi(Pal),

I can not believe how fast these past 16 days have gone, but I knew thats exactly how it would be. I mean look how fast 18 months have gone by,WOW! Before long you'll be home again(for good) and than starting the next chapter in your life and I look forward to watching the journey that road takes you down!

Be safe Pal in the last leg of your journey and know I miss you and love you very much!

All my love,ALWAYS...

Mom :)

Christi,
Thinking of you as you are nearly 1/2 way thru your flight back to Zambia. What a pleasure it has been spending some time with you. Your parents obviously love you very much and are proud of you as well. Keep up the good work - may you accomplish all that you hope to and hoping the next 8 months fly by as fast as these last 16 days have. Warm Hugs and Love from your Dad and I,
Linda
